AutoGen is a multi-agent AI application framework designed to create autonomous agents that can collaborate with humans or operate independently. While currently in maintenance mode, it allows users to build a wide range of agent-based applications, offering features like support for OpenAI models, no-code GUI via AutoGen Studio, and an extensible architecture for integrating additional functionalities. Users are encouraged to transition to the newer Microsoft Agent Framework for ongoing support and enhancements.
